The ship's layout The M.s. Om Ūtens, is a very nice ship with a classic appearance. This ship is ideal for a small family, with e.g. 2 kids. Also it is an excellent ship, when you have never steered a boat yourself. It is not to big and therefor it re-acts very quick. With the bowthruster (bowprop) you can manoeuvre the ship even more accurate. The ship has a spacious saloon, a nice kitchen, 1 sleeping cabin in the back and a toilet. The ship doesn't have a shower unfortunately. In addition you can steer the ship from two locations, inside as well as outside. |

| The saloon Firstly you will find the internal steering of the ship here. Here you will find the usual instruments needed for good boating. A very useful instrument found in the saloon is the bowprop. This is an extra prop in the bow of the ship. It enables you to manoeuvre the bow very accurately. The saloon is the living room of the ship. Here you will find a spacious L-shaped sitting area with a table. In the saloon you will also find a colour television. There is also a radio-CD-combination with 2 loudspeakers, so that you can listen to your favourite music when you are exploring our country. |

The kitchen The ship has a nice kitchen, with a refridgerator (80 L) and a gas cooker with 4 burners. Thanks to the 35 L boiler, you can get hot tap water intstantly. This boiler is heated by the engine's coolant. Because of the extremely good insulation the water stays hot for the whole day even when the motor has been turned off. Next to the kitchen, you will find an eating corner. This eating corner can be transformed into a double bed. |
| The cabins In the back of the ship you will find a lockable 2-person sleeping cabin and a toilet. There is also a large double bed at the front of the ship but it has a open connection to the kitchen and eating corner. For adults this might seem uncomfortable, but when you have children, you can always keep an eye on them when they are a sleep. Perhaps even more important, the children will sleep much better, knowing there parents are near by. We all know it is most difficult getting children to sleep in a strange bed. There is also the option of changing the sitting area into a double bed. |
